Conrad Prophet Biography

Conrad Prophet was raised in Royal Oak Township, Michigan and graduated from Ferndale High School in 1982. After graduating, he served in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Fulda and Frankfurt, Germany. In 1991, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Saginaw Valley State University.

Through his personal experiences growing up in an urban environment, as well as in educational and employment settings, Prophet was motivated to share his knowledge and perspective, with the hope of preparing young people for adulthood and the trials that accompany it, while helping them to avoid the pitfalls and problems he encountered. Determination, desire, and much sacrifice resulted in his first novel, Last Year Before Reality, a work of fiction that he self-published in 2001.

Feeling a sense of accomplishment from completing his first book, he still had a strong urge to convey some of life’s lessons he learned as he matured and was forced to deal with the realities that came with striving to be an educated and independent man in America. Compelled to compose an ‘instruction manual’ that would provide guidance and insight into how to develop the necessary skills to survive in various areas, such as private and government employment, self-employment, educational pursuits, and even the U.S. Armed Services, Prophet effectively self-published his second novel, Knowing the Rules of the Game, in 2004. Both of Prophet’s books have been well-received in the community. He has successfully facilitated discussion groups and seminars based on their contents in local high schools and churches.

Prophet has an almost insatiable passion to write and share knowledge. In 2007, Prophet decided to make writing his career. He had Last Year Before Reality masterfully re-edited to appeal to adults and he followed it up with No Time For Love, the sequel to Last Year Before Reality. No Time For Love, is a wildly imaginative page turner written with the adult reader in mind. It received a five star rating from Rawsistaz.com and rave reviews from all who have read it.

He is currently working on his next novel; scheduled to be released in 2008. Conrad guarantees to continue to deliver to his audience more of the same entertaining and thought-provoking action that will leave you wanting more!
